1. Check For Charging Cord Problem

Oftenly, charging cord happens to be behind all of these issues.Generally, portable cord shows this kind of issue due to bending of pin or adapter. Also, most of them wear out with time.

So, first and foremost step should be checking any cord related problem:

For this, connect the cable to the console and check the wire. If the wire feels loose , your console may be damaged and should be replaced. Also, Check for any melt, burn or discoloured site. If there is any, repair it.

Most of the time, with portable cables this issue may happen. So, Check for bent pins, adapters or fraying wires. Also, if you are using any charging cord other than the official Nintendo switch charging cord, it may have led to damage to the battery and have affected the battery life.

3. Perform a Force Restart

Step 1: Long press the power button for 12 to 15 seconds.

Step 2: Then, release the button .

4. Perform a Hard Reset
