Google Employees Sign Manifesto Against Widened Covid Vaccine Mandate

There had been a new development at the Google office that is causing quite a challenge for the people in leadership positions. Several hundreds of Google employees have gone ahead and signed a manifesto against the Covid 19 mandate for the employees to get vaccinated fully to return to the office.

It is indeed really important to see that the challenges are being provided to the employers as the date of the workers returning to office comes soon enough. At such a crucial point, we see the very determined effort of the employees to go against the vaccine mandate.

If the workers are not fully vaccinated, then they might not be allowed to get in the office in a physical state, as had been said by the company earlier too. However, there are many people who do not want to get vaccinated for whatever reason, and they are the ones spearheading the decision that we are seeing now. The Biden administration had ordered all the companies who are having a number of employees over 100 to be vaccinated or be regularly tested for the coronavirus.

In order to keep with the instructions from the President, Google had gone ahead and asked its employees, actually let’s input the number here, its more than 150,000 employees to upload their vaccination status to the internal systems of Google by the time and date of December 3. It did not matter if they planned to come into the office or not. The employees had to input their vaccination details into the system.

“Vaccines are key to our ability to enable a safe return to the office for everyone and minimize the spread of Covid-19 in our communities,” wrote Chris Rackow, who is holding the position of the current Google VP of security, in an email which was sent to the employees near the end of October.

This is the situation they are facing now, how they will respond to this is yet not known to us.
