Young Royals Season 2 Release Date

In the wake of last year’s jaw-dropping cliffhanger, which left the future of Prince Wilhelm’s relationship with his lover Simon in doubt, Young Royals will soon return to Netflix to address the situation.

In the Swedish drama, the protagonist is a teenage heir who attends an elite boarding school and falls in love with a fellow student there.

However, a treacherous rival drives their growing romance into the public eye, leading to a media scandal that ultimately compels Prince Wilhelm to make a choice between his love and his loyalty to the crown.

In November, when six all-new episodes arrive on Netflix, we’ll find out what happens as a result of that decision and if the future monarch is able to find happiness.

Young Royals Season 2 Release Date

Release Date of the Second Season of Young Royals

Beginning on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, season 2 of Young Royals will be available to view on Netflix.

The newest season will also have six episodes, and like previous ones, it will debut all at once as one of the streaming service’s signature binge-watch premieres.

Fans have been waiting a long time for a second season of Young Royals after the unexpected conclusion of the first season, which was renewed a little over a year ago in September 2021.

Season 2 of Young Royals Stars Cast

Edvin Ryding (Gsmamman) returns as Prince Wilhelm, who must decide between his love and his duty in the face of pressure from his domineering mother, Queen Kristina, in the second season of The Young Royals (as played by Pernilla August).

Simon, played by Omar Rudberg, is a former lover and classmate, but their relationship is in shambles after the horrific events of season 1.

Malte Grdinger co-stars as August, Prince Wilhelm’s devious second cousin and the star of the rowing squad at the exclusive Hillerska boarding school.

Nikita Uggla reprises her role as the privileged student Felice, while Frida Argento portrays Simon’s sister Sara, who has difficulty interacting with others owing to her autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

The Second Season of Young Royals Focuses on a Different set of Royal Children Plot.

After a sex tape featuring Wilhelm and Simon is posted online (by the royal’s own cousin August), Wilhelm chooses royal duty over love in the season 1 finale of Young Royals.

Later, he tells Simon that he wants to have a secret romance with him, but Simon isn’t convinced and the two go their own ways.

Despite Wilhelm’s decision to obey his mother (the queen) and prioritise his new duty as Crown Prince, it is evident by the end of the final episode that the former pair still has affections for each other.

Season 2 of Young Royals begins up shortly after the events of the first, with Wilhelm and Simon at the centre of yet another eventful semester at Hillerska.
