They are now refugees in this metropolis, having escaped their war-torn homelands. As would be expected from any close-knit community comprised of people from vastly different backgrounds, this leads to interpersonal tensions between the residents.
Is Season 2 of Carnival Row in the Works?
Amazon has ordered a second season of Carnival Row. We live in a world with three primary continents and various species, and nearly all of them are at war with one another. The vibrant neighbourhood known as Carnival Row can be found in these parallel dimensions.
In the time leading up to the first episode of the series, a great many violent deaths have occurred. Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate, a human investigator, plans an operation that may or may not involve a faerie named Vignette.
The continent Tirnanoc is home to several different Faerish nations and kingdoms. In this short story, Stonemoss assists the fae in boarding a ship to safety from the pact-occupied fae home. However, a storm at sea destroys the ship, leaving only Vignette alive.
Ezra Spurnrose, who lives in a posh section of the Burgue with his sister Imogen, is the ship’s owner. He lost a lot of money during the hurricane and wants Vignette to help out his sister Imogen by acting as a maid.
The old flame Toumaline, now working as a prostitute, tells Vignette that his sweetheart Philo is still alive after Vignette runs an errand on Carnival Row and runs into her.

The show’s main characters are a mix of “humans” and “fae,” and they reside in Burgue, which appears to be a safe haven for Faer refugees. However, they still have to work in low-paying service jobs and deal with severe discrimination, so their lives are not improved.
As if that weren’t bad enough, the city’s situation is dire because a new ‘acting’ chancellor named Jonah has declared war on all ‘non-humans.
When Will Season 2 of Carnival Row Be Available?
The Amazon Prime Video section that announces upcoming TV series and movies for August 2022 does not include Carnival Row, Season 2. There had been talk of a release in August, but it looks like there will be a long wait for supporters.
It took 17 months after filming ended for the first season to be made available to the public. If the schedule for Season 2 stays the same, we may expect it to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2022.
There is still a lot of CGI work to be done, even though filming has wrapped. Further, it is unknown at this time if each episode will be released individually or all at once like most television programmes.
