On April 12, 2022, Motorola introduced the Moto G52. The phone has a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, 1080×2400 full-high-definition (FHD) pixels at 402 ppi, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor drives the Motorola Moto G52. The device has either 4GB or 6GB of Memory. The Motorola Moto G52 has a 5000mAh battery and runs Android 12.
The Motorola Moto G52 has a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) main camera, an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera all located on the device’s back. The camera in the back may focus automatically. Selfies may be taken with the 16-megapixel front-facing camera, which has an aperture of f/2.45.
Moto G52 Design

The Moto G52’s volume rocker and fingerprint scanner are located on the right side of the device. The fingerprint scanner was within easy reach because my fingers lingered there while I held the phone. You’ll have to reach a little bit for the volume controls.
Only the SIM card slot is located on the left side. The Moto G52 from Motorola has dual speakers. In the device’s base, you’ll find both a USB Type-C connector and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The back is flat in the middle and gently rounded on the edges. The rear triple camera setup is reminiscent to the Moto G51 5G. (Review). The back panel was susceptible to fingerprints, but the included clear case solved the problem.
Moto G52 Specifications and Software
The Moto G52 has a full-HD+ pOLED screen that can refresh at up to 90Hz. The use of pOLED panels, which allow for thinner phones, is uncommon in this price range. This smartphone has Dolby Atmos and Snapdragon Sound compatibility for its dual speakers.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is the heart of the Moto G52. The Moto G52 supports microSD cards up to 1TB in size and features a hybrid dual-SIM tray. Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, near-field communication, and six satellite navigation systems are all supported by the Moto G52.
The phone has a 33W quick charging capability and a 5,000Mah battery. In addition to the phone, Motorola also includes a 33W TurboPower charger. In terms of water resistance, the Moto G52 has an IP52 rating.
Moto G52 Performance and Battery Life
Although the Moto G52 is a low-priced smartphone, it exudes a high-end quality thanks to its AMOLED screen, minimal bezels, and dual speakers. Outside, the screen could get bright enough and offered wide viewing angles.
The stereo speakers performed admirably, and I was happy to hear that they could adequately fill my tiny living room with music. The fingerprint scanner on the side and the facial recognition system worked quickly to unlock the phone.
Display color gamut can be adjusted. I appreciated that the default setting was “Saturated.” You can reduce the refresh rate to 60 fps if you choose, but at 90 fps, scrolling appears fluid. By default, the phone’s refresh rate was set to adapt to my current activity.
The Moto G52’s performance was evaluated via benchmarking. It scored 6,933 in PCMark Work 3.0 and 268,576 on AnTuTu. On the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 5, it achieved 376 and 1,584 points, respectively.
It received 2,131 points in 3DMark’s SlingShot graphics evaluation. The Realme 9 5G (Review) and the Redmi Note 11T 5G have very similar results (Review).
Moto G52 Cameras
A 50-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter that also functions as a depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter make up the Moto G52’s triple camera configuration. There’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera up front.
Moto users will be comfortable with the camera app’s layout and functionality. Within it, swiping allows you to switch between the several shooting modes. The settings can be adjusted more precisely in the “Pro” mode.
Dual Capture allows you to combine content from both the front-facing camera and the main or ultra-wide camera sensor in a single image. The Moto G52’s daylight photos weren’t particularly impressive. The dynamic range was not great, and distant objects lacked detail.
Conclusion
The AMOLED display is 6.6 inches in size and produces a resolution of 1080 by 2400. Fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and compass are only few of the sensors.
The rear camera setup on this smartphone is a whopping 50 megapixels (standard), eight megapixels (ultrawide), and two megapixels (macro), while the front shooter is a whopping sixteen megapixels (wide).
