The twist usually involves sending half of the Islanders into a new house with strangers to see if they can maintain their current relationships. At the same time, a new group of Islanders moves into the old villa with the current residents.
At the conclusion of the twist, each couple will make a decision about whether or not to continue their current relationship or to seek for a new one, without knowing the other couples’ decisions.
