1. Changing Your DNS Server

4. Changing Your MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit)

If the error is still not resolved, worry not, the cause behind it could be a wrong MTU which may be causing trouble establishing connection to a website. Some devices or routers hinder MTU workings. In this section, we will learn how to change MTU and set up an ideal one so that it may not create an issue  from now onwards.

Step 1: To proceed, you have to look for the correct network name.

Step 2: Once you know the name, you have to open the run program. press Windows key and R button simultaneously.

Step 3: Run window will pop up on your screen.to activate user tool, type 

Ncpa.cpl and hit the enter button.

Step 4: Further, if your network  connection is through ethernet, type

Netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface ‘your network name’ mtu=1472 store=persistent.

Step 5: If your network connection is wireless, type

Netsh interface ipv4 set subinterfcae ’your network name’ mtu=1472 store=persistent

Step 6: Finally, hit the enter button and go back to restart your device.do not forget to restart your router too.

5. Disabling Anti-Virus Protection And Firewall

Anti-virus protection and firewall play a very important role in protecting Chrome from malwares and viruses that could harm your computer. But sometimes, this amazing feature could also block some useful websites, of which it is suspicious of causing harm to a computer and being malicious.

The VPNs can limit our access by blocking or restricting it to particular website or servers. VPNs can detour some limitations posed by internet providers. If using VPN is helpful for you, and your issue is resolved to an extent. the problem could be with your IP address too because it is a possibility that it is blocked.

You need to arrange for a new IP address, you could do that by contacting your IP address provider and by explaining the whole scenario to him. He will surely assign you new IP address and help you resolve the issue.
